The history of Rolex began in 1905 in London, when German Hans Wilsdorf and his brother-in-law Alfred Davis founded a company to distribute wristwatches. • In 1953, it launched the Rolex Submariner, the first waterproof diving watch up to 100 meters, which would become an icon in adventure watches.
