The Rolex trademark was officially registered in 1908.

• In 1926, the Rolex Oyster was introduced as the first waterproof and dustproof wristwatch, setting a new standard for durability.
• By 1931, Rolex revolutionized watchmaking with the Perpetual movement, the first self-winding mechanism with a rotor, enabling the watch to recharge through wrist motion.
• In 1953, the brand launched the iconic Submariner, the first diving watch with a water resistance of 100 meters, a model that became synonymous with adventure and underwater exploration.
